- Target Pruning selecting and removing potentially weak/dangerous branches to help promote good healthy growth and shape

- Crown cleaning - removal of dead, dying, diseased, crowded, weakly attached and low-vigor branches from the crown of a tree.
- Crown lifting - removes the lower branches from a tree in order to provide clearance for buildings, vehicles and pedestrians
- Crown thinning - removal of certain branches throughout the crown to create an even structure that allows greater light penetration and reduced wind resistance
